One of the last topic which was brought up is HOME. For me, my really home is Leszno where I go once a fortnight and spend time with my family although most time I stay in Poznań. I've lived in Poznań for one year and two months and I've changed my flat three times. Now I live in the district of Grunwald near the stadium. I live in a block of flats and I share the flat with two persons. It's a quite old tower block so it's equipped with a lift. The appartment is situated on the third floor but often I use a lift especially at the time when I'm tired. I'm not supporter of climbing the stairs. :) Personally, I think that the most disadvantage is long distance from the city center. What's more many streets in the neighbourhood are under repairs and it causes difficulties with communication. It's really troublesome because getting to the Novum takes me more than 30 minutes. I'm still looking for a new room but the offers aren't interesting. Another drawback is lack of parks and green space. I like jogging and walking but to the closest park I have fifteen minutes. On the other hand, I'm glad to live in this flat because my room is really cute. It isn't big but cosy and well- furnished. Moreover, in the vicinity of my block of flats there are many local shops and I have 10 minutes to King Cross Shopping Gallery. It's great place for shopping- you have a wide choice of products in one place.
In conclusion, I like my current habitation but obviously it isn't my ideal place to live. In this flat I feel good and comfortable. But if I have a chance to rent a new room, I will take it without hesitation.

  1. I can imagine! Grunwald is not a good place to stay these days - public transportation is hopeless now and it takes ages to get there with all the road works going on :/
